Safaris and tours from Mombasa
Tsavo East is the closest large park, about 3 to 4 hours toward Voi. Tsavo West is longer and usually an overnight. Amboseli, Shimba Hills, and other Kenya tours are quoted as their own trips, not as part of a city tour.

Parks people book from Mombasa
The photograph at the top is Mombasa, the city the trip starts from. These safaris leave the island. The city tour does not drive to a national park.
- Tsavo East. About 160 km and 3 to 4 hours to the Voi side. A long day, or the first night of a safari.
- Tsavo West. About 4 to 5 hours toward Mtito Andei. Mzima Springs is the usual goal. Overnight is the sensible booking.
- Amboseli. About 7 to 8 hours via Tsavo West. An overnight safari, not a day tour.
- Shimba Hills. The forest reserve near Kwale, south of the ferry. A realistic day from Mombasa or Diani.
- Other Kenya tours. Arabuko Sokoke, Wasini and Kisite, and longer parks such as the Maasai Mara by a proper multi-day plan.
Fees
The WhatsApp amount is the vehicle, the guide, and the routing you agreed. Kenya Wildlife Service park fees are extra unless the reply names them. There is no shared truck and no seat sold to another party.

Can Tsavo be added to the Fort Jesus day?
No. Tsavo East is already 3 to 4 hours each way before any game drive. It is its own trip.
Which safari is closest to Mombasa?
Tsavo East, on the Mombasa-Nairobi road. Shimba Hills is closer still, but it is a forest reserve on the south coast, not Tsavo.
Are park fees included?
Only if the WhatsApp reply names them. Otherwise you pay the Kenya Wildlife Service fee for your category.
