Coast destinations from Mombasa

Where the coast trips go
The photograph at the top is Mombasa, the city the trip starts from. A city tour stays on the island and in Nyali or Bamburi. These trips leave that circuit.
- Diani is the south-coast beach after the Likoni ferry. About 40 km, around 50 minutes when the ferry queue is short.
- Watamu is on the north coast, about 110 km and 2 to 3 hours, beside Watamu Marine National Park.
- Malindi is further north, about 120 km and about 2.5 hours on the coast road.
- Lamu is the old stone town. The road to the mainland jetty is about 6 to 7 hours, then a boat. A flight to Manda is shorter.
- Zanzibar is in Tanzania. You need a passport. The trip is by air, not by the coast road.

No. Diani is south of the Likoni ferry. The half-day and full-day city tours stay on the island and the north coast.

No. Each place has its own distance. The WhatsApp reply names the place, the date, and the amount.
