Full-day Mombasa tour

A full-day Mombasa tour is about 8 hours. The morning is Fort Jesus and Old Town. The second stop is Haller Park in Bamburi. The marine park is not added to this day. Each entrance ticket is paid to that site.

Checked 19 October 2026. Haller Park rates follow the card effective 1 June 2026. Fort Jesus rates follow Legal Notice No. 79 of 2025.

Why the day is split

The island and Bamburi are far enough apart that a honest day has two chapters. Chapter one is the fort and the lanes, finished before the heat sits on the walls. Chapter two is the drive across the Nyali Bridge side to Haller Park, off the Mombasa-Malindi road. Lunch sits between them. Lunch is your own cost unless the WhatsApp quote names it.

The marine park does not join this route. A glass-bottom boat has its own departure and its own KWS ticket. Booking both in one day is how visits get cut short. Use the marine park tour on another day, or choose it instead of Haller Park.

Tickets on a full day

You will usually buy two tickets: Fort Jesus, and Haller Park. Citizen adults pay KSh 550 at the fort and KSh 1,000 at Haller Park. Visitors from outside Africa pay USD 17 at the fort. At Haller Park the non-East African resident adult rate on the 1 June 2026 card is KSh 3,000. Both tables are on the prices page.

The guide and vehicle quote covers both stops and the pickup. It does not absorb the tickets unless the chat says so in writing.
